August 2026 Product Updates

August is boosting efficiency, giving you smarter workflows and tighter control over your shop's operations. We’ve introduced conditional rules for repair job intake forms, expanded OrderSync and ScanPro for seamless MobileSentrix Europe integration, and rolled out dozens of back-office upgrades to help you save time and eliminate repetitive admin.

Key Highlights:

Conditional Custom Fields - Repair Jobs

Conditional Custom Fields

Different repairs need different intake information. A phone repair might call for liquid damage details and device condition, while a jewelry repair needs specifics about ring resizing, stone replacement, or clasp work. Until now, your intake forms had to cover every scenario at once.

With Conditional Custom Fields you can now set up simple IF/THEN rules so specific fields appear automatically based on previous answers.
Here's what you can do:
  • Create conditional rules across text, dropdown, checkbox, radio button, attachment, and calendar fields
  • Add new custom fields on the fly while building a rule
  • Reorder fields with drag-and-drop
  • Preview and test your logic before going live
The result: technicians capture the right details without wading through irrelevant fields, and intake stays fast and focused.

Mobile Sentrix - EU Integration

Mobile Sentrix EU support across all 27 EU countries

RepairDesk OrderSync
now supports Mobile Sentrix EU in every EU member country. Connect your Mobile Sentrix EU account under OrderSync, and easily sync your supplier’s orders right within RepairDesk.

RepairDesk ScanPro now supports Mobile Sentrix EU. You can now scan or type a SKU into ScanPro, and if the part belongs to the Mobile Sentrix EU catalog, it's identified automatically and pulled in with its details, pricing, and stock information already filled in. Add parts to inventory with one scan instead of adding them manually.

What’s New:

  • Clone Services When Creating a New Category
When users add a new general repair category with similar repair services, they have to create the category and manually recreate each service. This is time-consuming, repetitive, and can lead to pricing or configuration errors.
Create a new General Repair category and clone services from an existing category directly from the Bulk Price Editor.
Go to Upper Navigation Menu → Inventory → Services → Repairs → Bulk Price Editor → New Category.
You can enter the General Category Name, select the Category Hierarchy, and choose an existing General Repair category to Clone Services From. Click Save to create the new category and copy all services from the selected category. You can then update the copied service prices directly from the Bulk Editor.
This saves time by letting you quickly create new categories with existing services, reduce repetitive work, and minimize pricing or configuration errors.

  • Sub-ID Tracking for Multi-Assets/Devices Tickets
Managing multiple asset/device repairs under one ticket can make it difficult to track individual devices, search for a specific asset, and print separate barcode labels. Sub-ID Functionality lets you generate a unique Sub-ID for each asset within a multi-asset ticket.
Enable Display Sub-ID with Ticket ID from Settings > Repairs > Ticket & Repairs > Tickets > Interface & Display.
RepairDesk can then generate Sub-IDs, display them in the Ticket Listing, allow searching by Sub-ID, and generate asset-level labels.
Easily track each device individually, quickly find specific assets, reduce manual data entry, and print separate barcode labels for each asset.
If you are a general repair merchant and don't have a specific IMEI/Serial for a unique asset identifier, you can also use Sub-ID to auto-fill the IMEI/Serial field.
    Enable "Auto-fill IMEI/Serial Number using Sub-ID" from Settings > Repairs > Ticket & Repairs > Tickets > Interface & Display.

  • Create Subscription Plans & Sell Memberships
Add memberships to subscription plans and manage recurring services, products, and memberships in one place. Create reusable plans with predefined billing details, then sell them through Subscriptions or directly from the POS while recurring charges and renewals are handled automatically, enabling a source of recurring revenue for your business.

  • Keep Inventory correct by controlling Negative Stock
Control whether your store allows negative on-hand quantity with new setting options. When disabled, out-of-stock items cannot be sold or used, helping prevent stock discrepancies and inaccurate inventory levels. When enabled, users can continue to sell with negative stock when needed.
You can manage this configuration from Store Settings > Inventory > Inventory Configurations > Allow keeping negative On-hand stock

  • Simpler Reporting Experience - Improved Navigation
Find reports more easily with a simpler navigation menu.
We have also added Total Sales (Excl. Tax) for Cash basis under the store dashboard, and improved invoice and custom report management, giving you clearer sales tracking.

  • Display Repair Category on Invoices & Receipts
Two new independent toggles let you show the repair category in the Description section of your invoices and receipts across PDF, print, and the Customer Portal. The category appears alongside the brand and model under "Description." Both you and your customers, especially B2B customers on the Portal, can now identify the type of repair behind every service at a glance.
You can enable this configuration for invoices from Store Settings > Sales > Invoices > Configuration >  Interface & Display > Display repair category. You can enable this configuration for receipts from Store Settings > Sales > Receipts > Configuration >  Service, Part & Description > Display repair category

  • Role-Based Service Visibility
Hide specific services from selected employee roles. Turn on Role-Based Service Visibility from Store Settings > Tickets & Repairs > Repairs to add a "Hide From Roles" field on any service, then choose which roles shouldn't see it. Excluded roles won't find the service in POS, New Ticket, Manage Services, or reports, while customer-facing surfaces like the Widget and Customer Portal are unaffected.

  • Extend Cross-Store Ticket Visibility to More Roles
Cross-store ticket visibility is no longer limited to Super admins. When you enable "Allow Super admins to view all tickets" in Store Settings > Repairs > Tickets & Repairs > Rules & Permissions, a new multi-select dropdown lets you add additional roles, like regional or store managers, who should see tickets from all stores in the Manage Tickets listing. Give the right people a centralized cross-store view without escalating them to Super Admin and over-granting access.

  • New Hyperlink Field for Custom Form - RepairDesk Forms
Custom Forms under RepairDesk forms now support a Hyperlink field type. When adding a field under a custom form, choose Hyperlink and set a title, a clickable label, and a destination URL; the link renders on the form and opens in a new tab so customers don't lose their place. Use it to point customers to terms & conditions, warranty policies, booking pages, or any external resource directly from the form.

  • Restrict Countries on RepairDesk Forms
The Country field on RepairDesk Forms is now a dropdown, and you can choose which countries appear in it on a per-form basis. On the Customer Detail step of the form builder, use "Restrict countries" to select the countries you want shown, so a U.S.-only form can offer just the United States and keep submissions aligned to each form's intended region. Leave it empty, and all countries show, so existing forms are unaffected until you choose to restrict them.

  • Stripe Payment Now Stays Inside RepairDesk Forms
Stripe payments on RepairDesk Forms now open embedded on the same page instead of in a new tab. After a customer pays, they're automatically advanced to the next step, so forms with a shipping step after payment work end-to-end, including shipping label generation. If a payment fails or is canceled, the customer stays on the payment page with a retry option instead of being dropped from the form.

  • Ticket ID & Ticket Status in Custom Reports
See linked ticket details directly in your custom reports (Reports > Custom Reports). The Invoice View adds a clickable Ticket ID column and renames the existing "ID" column to "Invoice ID" for clarity, while the Items Breakdown view adds new Ticket ID and Ticket Status columns. Both new fields are also available in the report filters, so you can identify, track, and reconcile repair jobs without cross-referencing other reports.

  • Avalara Tax Integration Improvements
Avalara tax now works correctly across more point-of-sale scenarios. When Avalara calculates tax on POS items, including repair services, the cart displays an "Avalara Tax" label with the actual percentage Avalara charged, instead of the default RepairDesk tax class. Deposits taken through POS are now taxed via Avalara when "Charge Tax on Deposit" is enabled, and if Avalara tax ever fails to apply, a clear banner appears at the top of the invoice so you're never left with silently incorrect tax.

  • Make Pre-Repair Images Mandatory
Require Pre-Repair Images before a repair ticket is created. Enable "Require pre-repair device images" under Store Settings > Tickets & Repairs. Repairs and technicians must attach at least one photo of the device's condition before they can confirm a ticket, whether it's created from the Point of Sale or the Tickets page. Capture a visual record of every device at intake and protect your shop from disputes over pre-existing damage.

  • Restrict Access to Batch & Payment Reconciliation Reports by Role
Control access to the Batch Report and Payment Reconciliation Report on a per-role basis. Two new permissions under Roles & Permissions let you enable or disable each report independently from the rest of the Reports module. When a report is restricted, it's hidden from the Reports menu for those roles and blocked even if a user tries to reach it by URL, so sensitive financial data stays limited to the right people.

  • "Repaired & Collected" Now Remembers Your Last Selection
The Repaired & Collected option in the Point of Sale checkout payment pop-up now remembers your last selected value. Once you set it to "Yes" or "No," new tickets keep that value until you change it, and if you choose "No," the "Set ticket status to" dropdown remembers its last value too. Create high-volume tickets faster and apply warranties consistently without manually updating each one.

  • Hide Unit Price on Invoices, Receipts & Estimates
Choose to show only the total line item price on your customer-facing documents. New "Display unit price" toggles are available for Invoices, Service & Thermal Receipts, and Estimates. You can turn any of them off to hide the per-unit price column and show only the quantity and total for each line item. Each toggle is enabled by default, so nothing changes unless you decide to hide unit pricing. You can do this under the settings and configurations for invoices, receipts, and estimates separately.

  • Total Row Restored in the New Tax Report
The New Tax Report now includes a Total row at the bottom when you export or print it. The row sums the Tax, Total Amount Including Tax, and all Tax Class columns across every record in your export, respecting any filters you've applied, so you can review and reconcile without calculating totals by hand. It appears consistently across the Excel export, PDF export, and Print view.

  • Ticket-Level Shipping Address
Each ticket now carries its own shipping address, independent of the customer profile. You can view and edit it from the Shipping info card on any ticket; editing it affects only that ticket, so updating a customer's address never changes the label or address on their previous repairs. The field is available on every ticket even before a shipping line item is added, and locks once a label is generated. It's fully readable and writable via the Public API, so submissions under a shared customer email no longer overwrite addresses on prior tickets.
