September 2026 Product Updates

September is all about sharpening operational precision and giving you total control over your shop’s data. With powerful tools to merge duplicate inventory items, pre-made Subscription Plans for faster checkouts, and a fresh wave of granular permission controls, running a clean, secure repair business has never been easier.

Key Highlights:

Merge Products

Merge Products

Buying the same part from multiple suppliers, e.g., MobileSentrix, Injured Gadgets, Phone LCD Parts, usually leaves you with duplicate SKUs and a bloated product catalog in RepairDesk.

With the ability to merge existing inventory items, you can now consolidate duplicates into a single in-house SKU without losing any historical data.

Here's what you can do:
  • Select the duplicate SKUs directly from your Products list
  • Pick the surviving product that should keep the final record details
  • Roll on-hand quantities from every duplicate into one consolidated total automatically
  • Edit supplier, name, and other details on the fly before finalizing
  • Preview the merged record before anything is committed, so nothing gets merged by mistake

Works for both General Inventory and Serialized Inventory, across all your locations.

Sell subscriptions using plans

Subscription Plans
Create reusable Subscription Plans to speed up checkouts and sell subscriptions in seconds. Instead of configuring recurring schedules and line items from scratch every single time, staff can simply pick a pre-set plan to enroll customers instantly.
  • A streamlined way to create, manage, and sell pre-configured recurring billing templates across your shop.
  • Eliminates manual data entry, reduces setup mistakes, and dramatically speeds up subscription sign-up at checkout.
How it works:
  • Build a plan by pre-defining the billing schedule, products, services, and payment method.
  • Create a subscription directly from the POS (Customer -> Actions -> Sell Subscription), or the Subscription Listing page.
  • Select the pre-made plan, fill in any missing customer details, and you’re good to go.

Subscription Module New Updates:
We have also added the following new updates to the subscription module:

  • Tax-Exclusive vs. Tax-Inclusive Subscription Plans
Subscription plan pricing now automatically adapts to your store’s tax settings across POS and Subscription flows, and adds dedicated tax breakdown columns in listings, helping your staff quote accurate pre-tax or post-tax prices without calculation confusion.

  • Manual Subscription Cancellation Notification
Store owners can now enable a customizable email notification trigger under store settings, which automatically sends a tailored email to customers the moment their subscription is manually canceled so they stay informed and support queries are reduced. You can go to Store Settings > Sales > Subscriptions - Recurring Billing > Notifications > Enable Notification "Email when subscription is manually cancelled"

What’s New:

  • Prevent Un-serialized Stock for Serialized Products
A new system-wide rule forces users to add or select valid serial numbers whenever stock is increased or sold across Point of Sale, Tickets, Invoices, GRN, Counts, Transfers, and RMA, ensuring on-hand inventory counts always perfectly match your physical serial numbers.
You can manage the setting from Store Settings > Inventory > Allow un-serialized stock for serialized products

  • Restrict Manual Entry in RepairDesk Forms
RepairDesk Forms can now stop users from manually adding categories, brands, or models. When "Show Search Bar" is enabled on the Repair Categories, Brands, or Models step, a new "Allow Manual Entry" toggle appears directly below it. Turn it off, and users can only select from your existing device and model list, keeping device data clean and consistent across your account.

  • Smarter Address Auto-Fill on Create Customer
The "Auto-fill City, State, Country & Postcode from Store Address" option in the Create New Customer pop-up now includes the postcode, so the full address is populated from your store settings in one step. The checkbox also remembers its state, so you don't need to re-check it every time you add a customer.

  • Filter Products by Shopify & WooCommerce Sync Status
The Products Listing page now lets you filter products by their Shopify and WooCommerce sync status. Two new options, "Synced with Shopify" and "Synced with WooCommerce," are available in the Criteria dropdown, each with a Yes/No selection to show only synced or unsynced products. Identify and manage products by sync status at a glance, even across large catalogs.

  • Permission to Show/Hide Inventory Stats
A new "Show Inventory Stats" permission under Roles, Access & Permissions → Inventory controls who can see the inventory statistics, including Total Stock Retail Value and Total Cost Value  at the top of the Product Listing page. Enable it for the roles that should see this data and disable it for those that shouldn't, keeping sensitive financials limited to authorized staff. The permission is enabled by default, so nothing changes until you adjust it.

  • Repair Category Macro for Ticket Labels
A new 'repair_category_tree' macro in the ticket label editor prints the full repair category hierarchy assigned to a ticket, in the format:
    - Category -> Sub-category 1 -> Sub-category 2
Add it to your label template and staff can identify the repair type at a glance, straight from the printed label. If a ticket has only a general category, it shows just that, and if none is assigned, the macro renders empty without breaking the layout.

  • Filter Tickets by Days Since Last Update
A new "Days Since Last Update" filter in the Advanced Filter dropdown on the Tickets Listing page surfaces tickets by how long they've been inactive. Enter any number of days to display only tickets that have gone that many days or more without an update, so stale jobs are easy to spot and prioritize before they're overlooked.

  • Bulk Update Commissions for Bill Payment Services
Commissions for bill payment services can now be updated in bulk through import/export. The file exported from Inventory → Bill Payments includes two new columns, Commission Type and Commission Value, pre-filled with each plan's current values; edit them and re-import to apply changes across all your plans at once. The same columns appear in the import sample file and in the Mapping and Overview steps, so you can review commission changes before confirming. Reward employees for these services without editing hundreds of plans one by one.

  • Cash Register Changes in the Employee Activity Log
Configuration changes made in the Cash Register module (Store Settings > Sale > Cash Register) are now recorded in the Employee Activity Log Report. Every change, across the Registers, Cash Drawer, Configurations, and Notifications tabs, plus enabling or disabling the module itself, is captured with the employee's name, timestamp, IP, and the before-and-after values. Register activity appears alongside your other logged actions and can be isolated using the Action filter, so you can audit who changed what and when.

  • Granular Stock Adjustment Permissions
The single "Adjust Stock" permission is now split into three independent permissions under Roles, Access and Permissions > Permissions > Inventory: Increase Stock, Decrease Stock, and Revaluate Cost. Grant each one separately, so you can let staff add stock without exposing quantities to reductions or cost changes. The Inventory Adjustment popup only shows the adjustment types an employee is permitted to use, and this applies everywhere stock can be adjusted. All three are enabled by default where Adjust Stock was already on, so current behavior stays intact until you change it.

  • Dedicated Additional Notes Macro for Service Receipts
A new additional_notes macro is available in the Available tags list of the Service Receipt Perforated template editor. Insert it anywhere in your layout, independently of the line item table, and it populates each line item's additional notes as the receipt iterates, giving you full control over where those notes appear. Existing templates are unaffected until you add the macro.

  • Require Product Notes Before Point of Sale Checkout
A new "Require product notes at checkout" trigger under Store Settings > Point of Sale (Roles and Permissions section) requires a note for every product before a sale can be completed. When enabled, checkout is blocked until each product in the cart has a note, and the Add Note button turns red on any product that's missing one. Make sure critical product details are captured consistently and never lost after the sale. The trigger is disabled by default and applies only to Products.

  • Payment Received Date in Manage Invoices
You can add a new "Payment Received Date" column to the Manage Invoices listing from the gear icon. It shows the date the latest payment was received for each invoice, so fully paid tickets that are ready to work on are easy to spot without opening each one. The column is hidden by default, appears after the Due Date column once added, and is included in your PDF and Excel exports.

  • Date Range on the Tax Report PDF
The Tax Report PDF now displays the date range it covers, shown just below the report title. When you export from Reports > Tax Report, the selected date range appears in the format Report Date: <start_date> - <end_date>, so the reporting period is clear at a glance when reviewing or sharing the file. If no date filter is applied, it shows the date range from the first to the last invoice in the exported data.

  • Keep GRN & Purchase Order Changes After a Screen Lock
In-progress work on the Create/Edit PO and Create GRN screens is now retained when the screen locks for inactivity and you unlock it with your access PIN. On PO pages, entered ordered quantities are preserved across all line items; on the GRN page, the added PO along with its pulled-in selections and received quantities is kept intact. Step away without losing completed work or re-entering data after unlocking.

August 2026 Product Updates

August is boosting efficiency, giving you smarter workflows and tighter control over your shop's operations. We’ve introduced conditional rules for repair job intake forms, expanded OrderSync and ScanPro for seamless MobileSentrix Europe integration, and rolled out dozens of back-office upgrades to help you save time and eliminate repetitive admin.

Key Highlights:

Conditional Custom Fields - Repair Jobs

Conditional Custom Fields

Different repairs need different intake information. A phone repair might call for liquid damage details and device condition, while a jewelry repair needs specifics about ring resizing, stone replacement, or clasp work. Until now, your intake forms had to cover every scenario at once.

With Conditional Custom Fields you can now set up simple IF/THEN rules so specific fields appear automatically based on previous answers.
Here's what you can do:
  • Create conditional rules across text, dropdown, checkbox, radio button, attachment, and calendar fields
  • Add new custom fields on the fly while building a rule
  • Reorder fields with drag-and-drop
  • Preview and test your logic before going live
The result: technicians capture the right details without wading through irrelevant fields, and intake stays fast and focused.

Mobile Sentrix - EU Integration

Mobile Sentrix EU support across all 27 EU countries

RepairDesk OrderSync
now supports Mobile Sentrix EU in every EU member country. Connect your Mobile Sentrix EU account under OrderSync, and easily sync your supplier’s orders right within RepairDesk.
Learn More

RepairDesk ScanPro now supports Mobile Sentrix EU. You can now scan or type a SKU into ScanPro, and if the part belongs to the Mobile Sentrix EU catalog, it's identified automatically and pulled in with its details, pricing, and stock information already filled in. Add parts to inventory with one scan instead of adding them manually.

What’s New:

  • Clone Services When Creating a New Category
When users add a new general repair category with similar repair services, they have to create the category and manually recreate each service. This is time-consuming, repetitive, and can lead to pricing or configuration errors.
Create a new General Repair category and clone services from an existing category directly from the Bulk Price Editor.
Go to Upper Navigation Menu → Inventory → Services → Repairs → Bulk Price Editor → New Category.
You can enter the General Category Name, select the Category Hierarchy, and choose an existing General Repair category to Clone Services From. Click Save to create the new category and copy all services from the selected category. You can then update the copied service prices directly from the Bulk Editor.
This saves time by letting you quickly create new categories with existing services, reduce repetitive work, and minimize pricing or configuration errors.

  • Sub-ID Tracking for Multi-Assets/Devices Tickets
Managing multiple asset/device repairs under one ticket can make it difficult to track individual devices, search for a specific asset, and print separate barcode labels. Sub-ID Functionality lets you generate a unique Sub-ID for each asset within a multi-asset ticket.
Enable Display Sub-ID with Ticket ID from Settings > Repairs > Ticket & Repairs > Tickets > Interface & Display.
RepairDesk can then generate Sub-IDs, display them in the Ticket Listing, allow searching by Sub-ID, and generate asset-level labels.
Easily track each device individually, quickly find specific assets, reduce manual data entry, and print separate barcode labels for each asset.
If you are a general repair merchant and don't have a specific IMEI/Serial for a unique asset identifier, you can also use Sub-ID to auto-fill the IMEI/Serial field.
    Enable "Auto-fill IMEI/Serial Number using Sub-ID" from Settings > Repairs > Ticket & Repairs > Tickets > Interface & Display.

  • Create Subscription Plans & Sell Memberships
Add memberships to subscription plans and manage recurring services, products, and memberships in one place. Create reusable plans with predefined billing details, then sell them through Subscriptions or directly from the POS while recurring charges and renewals are handled automatically, enabling a source of recurring revenue for your business.

  • Keep Inventory correct by controlling Negative Stock
Control whether your store allows negative on-hand quantity with new setting options. When disabled, out-of-stock items cannot be sold or used, helping prevent stock discrepancies and inaccurate inventory levels. When enabled, users can continue to sell with negative stock when needed.
You can manage this configuration from Store Settings > Inventory > Inventory Configurations > Allow keeping negative On-hand stock

  • Simpler Reporting Experience - Improved Navigation
Find reports more easily with a simpler navigation menu.
We have also added Total Sales (Excl. Tax) for Cash basis under the store dashboard, and improved invoice and custom report management, giving you clearer sales tracking.

  • Display Repair Category on Invoices & Receipts
Two new independent toggles let you show the repair category in the Description section of your invoices and receipts across PDF, print, and the Customer Portal. The category appears alongside the brand and model under "Description." Both you and your customers, especially B2B customers on the Portal, can now identify the type of repair behind every service at a glance.
You can enable this configuration for invoices from Store Settings > Sales > Invoices > Configuration >  Interface & Display > Display repair category. You can enable this configuration for receipts from Store Settings > Sales > Receipts > Configuration >  Service, Part & Description > Display repair category

  • Role-Based Service Visibility
Hide specific services from selected employee roles. Turn on Role-Based Service Visibility from Store Settings > Tickets & Repairs > Repairs to add a "Hide From Roles" field on any service, then choose which roles shouldn't see it. Excluded roles won't find the service in POS, New Ticket, Manage Services, or reports, while customer-facing surfaces like the Widget and Customer Portal are unaffected.

  • Extend Cross-Store Ticket Visibility to More Roles
Cross-store ticket visibility is no longer limited to Super admins. When you enable "Allow Super admins to view all tickets" in Store Settings > Repairs > Tickets & Repairs > Rules & Permissions, a new multi-select dropdown lets you add additional roles, like regional or store managers, who should see tickets from all stores in the Manage Tickets listing. Give the right people a centralized cross-store view without escalating them to Super Admin and over-granting access.

  • New Hyperlink Field for Custom Form - RepairDesk Forms
Custom Forms under RepairDesk forms now support a Hyperlink field type. When adding a field under a custom form, choose Hyperlink and set a title, a clickable label, and a destination URL; the link renders on the form and opens in a new tab so customers don't lose their place. Use it to point customers to terms & conditions, warranty policies, booking pages, or any external resource directly from the form.

  • Restrict Countries on RepairDesk Forms
The Country field on RepairDesk Forms is now a dropdown, and you can choose which countries appear in it on a per-form basis. On the Customer Detail step of the form builder, use "Restrict countries" to select the countries you want shown, so a U.S.-only form can offer just the United States and keep submissions aligned to each form's intended region. Leave it empty, and all countries show, so existing forms are unaffected until you choose to restrict them.

  • Stripe Payment Now Stays Inside RepairDesk Forms
Stripe payments on RepairDesk Forms now open embedded on the same page instead of in a new tab. After a customer pays, they're automatically advanced to the next step, so forms with a shipping step after payment work end-to-end, including shipping label generation. If a payment fails or is canceled, the customer stays on the payment page with a retry option instead of being dropped from the form.

  • Ticket ID & Ticket Status in Custom Reports
See linked ticket details directly in your custom reports (Reports > Custom Reports). The Invoice View adds a clickable Ticket ID column and renames the existing "ID" column to "Invoice ID" for clarity, while the Items Breakdown view adds new Ticket ID and Ticket Status columns. Both new fields are also available in the report filters, so you can identify, track, and reconcile repair jobs without cross-referencing other reports.

  • Avalara Tax Integration Improvements
Avalara tax now works correctly across more point-of-sale scenarios. When Avalara calculates tax on POS items, including repair services, the cart displays an "Avalara Tax" label with the actual percentage Avalara charged, instead of the default RepairDesk tax class. Deposits taken through POS are now taxed via Avalara when "Charge Tax on Deposit" is enabled, and if Avalara tax ever fails to apply, a clear banner appears at the top of the invoice so you're never left with silently incorrect tax.

  • Make Pre-Repair Images Mandatory
Require Pre-Repair Images before a repair ticket is created. Enable "Require pre-repair device images" under Store Settings > Tickets & Repairs. Repairs and technicians must attach at least one photo of the device's condition before they can confirm a ticket, whether it's created from the Point of Sale or the Tickets page. Capture a visual record of every device at intake and protect your shop from disputes over pre-existing damage.

  • Restrict Access to Batch & Payment Reconciliation Reports by Role
Control access to the Batch Report and Payment Reconciliation Report on a per-role basis. Two new permissions under Roles & Permissions let you enable or disable each report independently from the rest of the Reports module. When a report is restricted, it's hidden from the Reports menu for those roles and blocked even if a user tries to reach it by URL, so sensitive financial data stays limited to the right people.

  • "Repaired & Collected" Now Remembers Your Last Selection
The Repaired & Collected option in the Point of Sale checkout payment pop-up now remembers your last selected value. Once you set it to "Yes" or "No," new tickets keep that value until you change it, and if you choose "No," the "Set ticket status to" dropdown remembers its last value too. Create high-volume tickets faster and apply warranties consistently without manually updating each one.

  • Hide Unit Price on Invoices, Receipts & Estimates
Choose to show only the total line item price on your customer-facing documents. New "Display unit price" toggles are available for Invoices, Service & Thermal Receipts, and Estimates. You can turn any of them off to hide the per-unit price column and show only the quantity and total for each line item. Each toggle is enabled by default, so nothing changes unless you decide to hide unit pricing. You can do this under the settings and configurations for invoices, receipts, and estimates separately.

  • Total Row Restored in the New Tax Report
The New Tax Report now includes a Total row at the bottom when you export or print it. The row sums the Tax, Total Amount Including Tax, and all Tax Class columns across every record in your export, respecting any filters you've applied, so you can review and reconcile without calculating totals by hand. It appears consistently across the Excel export, PDF export, and Print view.

  • Ticket-Level Shipping Address
Each ticket now carries its own shipping address, independent of the customer profile. You can view and edit it from the Shipping info card on any ticket; editing it affects only that ticket, so updating a customer's address never changes the label or address on their previous repairs. The field is available on every ticket even before a shipping line item is added, and locks once a label is generated. It's fully readable and writable via the Public API, so submissions under a shared customer email no longer overwrite addresses on prior tickets.

July 2026 Product Updates

July is here to keep your shop running cool, crisp, and completely effortless. We’ve given RepairDesk Connect a major full-width overhaul, introduced native Discount Coupons, and rolled out over two dozen smart operational upgrades, so you can cut down on daily admin and focus on growing your business.

Key Highlights:

RepairDesk Connect Revamped

RD Connect
Experience our brand-new full-width interface, designed to give your team more space and a smoother workflow. You can click on the "Message" icon in the header to access it.

New Updates:
  • Faster load times across the entire platform
  • Live Chat to connect with customers in real time
  • Install the platform as an app on your desktop or mobile device using our Progressive Web App (PWA) for one-click access
  • Automatic review responses to save time and streamline follow-ups
  • New WhatsApp integration for easier customer communication

Discount Coupons

Discount Coupons
One of the most voted feature requests from our community is officially live. Create and manage Discount Coupons directly in RepairDesk to run targeted promotions and reward your customers with ease. Create fixed amount or percentage-based coupons, set validity dates, usage limits, minimum order values, and even restrict coupons to specific products, services, or customer groups.

For an even faster checkout experience, enable Auto Apply to automatically apply eligible discounts at the POS, eliminating the need for your staff to enter coupon codes manually. Applied coupons are also displayed on invoices, receipts, tickets, estimates, and the Customer Facing Display (CFD), while every redemption is tracked through the Items Breakdown custom report, giving you complete visibility into your promotional performance.

Show Parts as Separate Line Items

Display parts as separate line items
Repair shops often need to itemize parts and labor separately on customer-facing documents, whether for tax compliance, transparent pricing, or cleaner record-keeping. With this feature, RepairDesk automatically splits each repair into two distinct line items, one for the service (labor) and one for the part across your tickets, invoices, receipts, and estimates.

You get full control over how each line is priced and taxed: choose whether the service charge is tax-exempt, set the part price to retail, cost, or zero, and apply tax rules independently to each line. This is especially useful for shops in regions like the EU, Australia, or parts of the US where tax authorities require labor and parts to be reported separately.

What’s New:

  • Restore Deleted Items from the Recycle Bin
Restore accidentally deleted Inventory items, Tickets, Invoices, and Services yourself; no more raising support tickets to get them back. Access the new Recycle Bin page from Store Settings (available to Super Admins) to view, filter, search, and restore deleted items individually or in bulk. Every restore is logged in the Employee Activity log for full audit visibility.

  • Marketing Call Consent Management
Collect and manage customer consent for marketing calls directly within RepairDesk.
Enable the feature in Store Settings > Customer Configuration, add your custom consent statement, and capture consent at the Point of Sale, in the New Ticket UI, or in the Customer Profile. Consent is automatically printed on invoices and receipts, stored for future reference, and can be exported through the Custom Report Builder, making it easy to maintain compliance and share consent records with your marketing partners.

  • Custom Report Sharing & Access Management
Share Custom Reports with employees, roles, or your entire team without requiring everyone to recreate them. Admins and Super Admins can control access with View, Edit, or Export permissions, add report descriptions, and update sharing settings at any time using the new Manage Access option. This makes report collaboration easier while ensuring every team member has the right level of access to add or remove users and adjust access levels as your team changes.

  • Enhanced Employee Performance Insights in Sales Reports under Custom Reports
A new Employee Performance drawer view lets you compare one or more employees using key metrics such as Total Sales, Quantity Sold, and Profit After Tax, helping you identify top performers and analyze sales performance without leaving the report. Once you create a custom report under the "Item breakdown" and "Employees" filters, you will see the option to view "Employee Sales Performance," which opens a drawer to view it.

  • Transfer Order Snapshots via email/export logs
Create Transfer Order Snapshots to capture and preserve all transfer orders across your stores at a specific point in time. Schedule snapshots daily, receive them automatically via email, and access them anytime in the Export Log Report for easy recordkeeping and historical tracking.

  • Charge Shipping Cost on Orders Submitted from RepairDesk Forms
Configure a shipping charge on your RepairDesk Forms and collect it, along with the deposit, in a single upfront transaction. Choose between a flat rate or a dynamic rate (calculated via ShipStation based on the customer's address, package, weight, and service), add an optional markup %, and enable the "Charge shipping fee with deposit" toggle. Customers see the calculated shipping cost on the Shipping step, and the fee is included on the deposit invoice and ticket as a separate line item.

  • Capture Customer Consent for SMS & Email Updates on RepairDesk Forms
Capture explicit customer consent for SMS and email updates directly on your RD Forms. Enable the new "Enable email consent" and "Enable SMS consent" toggles under each field in the Customer Detail step; consent is synced directly to the customer's notification preferences in RepairDesk, keeping you compliant with GDPR and similar regulations.

  • Incomplete RepairDesk Form Tickets Now Saved as Draft
When a RepairDesk Form has a mandatory Payment step and a customer closes the tab without paying, the ticket is saved as a Draft rather than remaining active. Draft tickets carry a clear "Draft" label in Manage Tickets, so you can tell real repair jobs apart from abandoned submissions. Opening or editing a draft automatically converts it to an active ticket, and customer email/SMS notifications are sent only after that happens.

  • Select Ticket Status on Checkout
Select any ticket status directly from the payment pop-up on POS; no more manual status updates after every checkout. When "Repaired & Collected" is set to "No", a new Ticket Status dropdown appears, allowing you to apply the appropriate status at the moment of payment.

  • Auto-Recalculate Percentage-based Line Items on Cart Changes
Percentage-based line items, such as CC Convenience Fees or surcharges, now automatically recalculate whenever your cart total changes, including on reopened paid and partially paid invoices. Add, remove, or modify items, and the percentage line item updates in real time with a brief highlight in the cart so the change doesn't get missed.

  • New Status History Tab on Ticket Details
A new Status History tab has been added to the ticket history section, placed between "All" and "Private Comments", displaying only status change entries filtered from the full activity feed. Quickly see when each status transition happened without scrolling through unrelated activity.

  • Get Notified When Customers Add Notes to Estimates
Be alerted whenever a customer adds a note to an estimate, whether through the Customer Portal or via the estimate email. A new Customer Added Notes option in Manage Email & SMS Notifications lets you enable email and/or SMS alerts, so staff can respond promptly rather than manually checking each estimate for customer replies.

  • Attach Files to Email Invoices
Add supporting documents directly to an email invoice. A new Attachments section in the Email Invoice pop-up lets you drag and drop or browse to upload files, which are sent alongside the auto-attached PDF invoice, so you can share everything the customer needs in one professional email instead of sending separate follow-ups.

  • Print Additional Notes on Ticket Labels
A new Additional Notes macro is now available in the Ticket Label editor. Add {{additional_notes}} to your label template, and it prints the additional notes recorded against the line item, from either the POS or the Ticket Details page,  so that context travels with the equipment on the physical label instead of living only in the system.

  • Add Instructions to Custom Form Steps
Display an instructions section at the top of a Custom Form step, just as the Shipping and Payment steps already do. Enable Show Instructions in the Custom Form widget settings, and a rich text editor lets you add formatted guidance, requirements, or disclaimers (bold, lists, hyperlinks, and more), so customers get clear context before they fill out the form and submit fewer errors.

  • Filter Inventory to Show Parts Only
Filter the Manage Inventory listing to show only part items by selecting Parts from the Criteria dropdown filter. Instead of opening each product to check its category, you can pull up every item marked as a part in one step, and a Part tag now appears against parts categories in the Category column, so they're easy to spot at a glance.

  • Link Private Comments to Line Items
When a ticket has multiple devices or services, you can now link each private comment to a specific line item. Just select the relevant device or service from the new Line Item dropdown in the Private Comments section; the comment is tagged to that item, so technicians can see exactly which repair an internal note refers to without guessing or cross-referencing.

  • Quick Check-In Now Available for New Ticket UI
When adding a new service to a ticket, you'll see the same Quick Check-In option already available for device repair categories on POS, so you can use the same fast check-in workflow for service-based jobs and repairs while checking in from the Ticket UI.

  • Separate Permission for Trade-Ins on the POS
Trade-in access on the POS is now its own permission. The new Add Trade-In Item permission, under Roles & Permissions > Point of Sale, lets you allow staff to process trade-ins without also giving them the Create New Service/Item permission to add products or services. You can now manage trade-in and item-addition access independently.

  • Print Customer Group on Ticket Labels
A new Customer Group macro is now available in the Ticket Label editor. Add {{customer_group}} to your label template, and it prints the name of the Customer Group assigned to the ticket, so staff can instantly identify and organize repair items on the shop floor without looking them up in the system.

  • Hyperlinked Ticket & Invoice IDs on POS
The View Tickets and View Invoices lists on the POS are now faster to work with. Ticket IDs and Invoice IDs in the first column are hyperlinked, so you can jump straight into a ticket or invoice with a click; no more navigating to Repairs > Tickets to look it up. Pagination has also been added at the bottom of these lists, making it easier to move through your records.

  • Import & Export Trade-In Custom Fields via Excel
Populate Trade-In custom fields through Excel. The exported import template now includes a column for every custom field (named Custom Fields: <Field Name>), and when you upload the completed sheet, those fields appear as mappable columns during the import mapping stage, so you can fill in all custom field values as part of the bulk import instead of updating each Trade-In record by hand afterward.

What’s New:

  • Link PO Line Items to Source Records
You can now link each PO line item to its source, whether it's a Repair Ticket, Invoice, Transfer Order, Stock note, or any other reference you use. Just head to Settings → Inventory → Purchase Orders and enable the 'Display Internal Reference' toggle. Once enabled, an 'Internal Reference' column will appear on your POs where you can add a free-text label and an optional URL against each line item, making receiving much faster when stock arrives.

  • Day of the Week Now Available on Ticket Labels
Merchants can now include the day of the week alongside the due date and created date on Ticket Labels — making schedules easier to read at a glance and reducing timeline confusion for staff. Four new macros are available in the Ticket Label editor: created_day_date, created_day_datetime, due_day_date, and due_day_datetime — formatted as "Monday, 22 April, 2026" or "Monday, 22 April, 2026 11:52 PM".

  • Trade-In Report Improvements
Merchants now get more context on every Trade-In transaction directly from the Trade-In Report. The Seller and Buyer columns now display the contact's name, mobile, and email inline — no more switching screens to identify who was involved. Two new columns have also been added: Seller Employee and Buyer Employee, showing which staff member processed each side of the transaction (Seller Employee only populates when an invoice has been created against the trade-in). Both new columns are also available as filters in the Select Criteria dropdown.

  • New Customer Profile Configuration - Make Email & Mobile Mandatory
You can now make the customer's email and mobile number mandatory whenever a new customer is added from the POS, the New Ticket page, or the Customer Listing. Enable either or both from the new Customer Profile Configuration page under Settings → Customers, ensuring every new customer profile has the contact details needed for digital receipts, invoices, and SMS notifications.

  • Edit and Delete Technical Repair Reports on Tickets
You can now edit or delete technical repair reports directly from a ticket using the new pencil and trash icons, so you can correct errors before they appear on a printed receipt. A new "Change Technical Reports" permission has been added under Roles, Access and Permissions → Tickets, giving you control over which roles can make these changes.

  • Hide "No Warranty" on Service & Thermal Receipts
You can now hide the "Warranty: No Warranty" label from your Service and Thermal Receipts for items without a warranty, keeping your customer-facing receipts clean and focused. Enable it from Settings → Sales → Receipts via the new "Display 'No Warranty' on receipts" toggle.

  • Select and Delete All Inventory Items or Services Across Pages
You can now select all Inventory items or Services across the listing screen, including filtered results, and perform bulk actions like delete without being restricted by pagination. Just click the header checkbox to select the current page, then use the new "Select all Y items" option in the banner above the table to expand your selection across all pages.

  • Control Who Can Delete Pre/Post Repair Images
You can now restrict which employees can delete pre- and post-repair images on a ticket, protecting important repair documentation from being removed without authorization. A new "Delete Pre/Post Images" permission has been added under Roles, Access and Permissions → Tickets, letting you control deletion access per role.

May 2026 Product Updates

May brings plenty of sunshine and a lot less paperwork. We have added a simpler way to charge customers for partial payments via online invoices, completely rebuilt our tax reporting logic for greater accuracy, and introduced dozens of smart shortcuts to reduce extra clicks and notification clutter.

Key Highlights:

Email Invoices, Now with Signatures & Partial Payments

Partial Payment and Signature - Online Invoice
Email Invoices is now supported with signatures & partial payments
Online payments shouldn't be all-or-nothing. Repair jobs often require upfront deposits, signed terms and conditions, and flexibility in payment terms. And now your email invoices can do all of it. Collect customer signatures, Terms & Conditions acceptance, and partial payments, all inside the email invoice flow you're familiar with.
- Signed Terms & Conditions: Lock in customer consent before payment
- Flexible Payment Options: Accept deposits or any partial amount

Note: This update is supported with RepairDesk Payments

Tax Report Revamped

The Tax Report has been redesigned to display clean invoice-level data instead of showing separate rows for each line item, making it easier to read, track, and match with your Manage Invoice listing.

It now handles partial payments, refunds, discounts, invoice status changes, and tax calculations using the same logic as the Invoice module.

You can also view invoice details and payment history directly from the report for faster transaction review and investigation.

What’s New:

  • Logged-in User Now Visible in the Header with Secure User Switching
Your logged-in user details are now displayed directly in the header at the top right, giving you instant visibility into the active session. From there, you can lock the screen, switch users, or log out. We have also updated the "Switch User" functionality and user interface. Switching users now requires a PIN, ensuring only authorized staff can access active sessions.

  • Group Notifications by Device, Not by Individual Services.
When multiple services are added to the same device under a ticket, and you use the "Itemize each repair as a separate line item" functionality, your customers will receive a single combined notification instead of separate messages for each service. This update keeps communication clear, reduces notification spam, and provides a more organized experience even when itemized triggers are enabled.

  • Snapshots for In-Transit & Ticket Items Report.
The In-Transit Report and Ticket Items Report now support automated report snapshots, allowing you to preserve historical data instead of only viewing live values. You can generate daily snapshots to accurately track inventory in transit and spare parts reserved in repair jobs at specific points in time. These snapshots can also be automatically emailed to the specific employees and accessed anytime through Export Logs, making month-end reconciliation, auditing, and inventory valuation much easier and more reliable.
If you want to enable it, go to Settings > Inventory > Inventory Configuration > Advanced > In-transit Inventory Snapshot & Ticket Items Report Snapshot.

  • Upload Multiple Attachments in RepairDesk Forms
You can now allow uploading more than one image/attachment in the Custom Form step of RepairDesk Forms. Capture all the angles you need, front, back, or any additional views, to better document the condition of a device at intake.

  • Display Service Descriptions on RepairDesk Forms
You can now enable a toggle in the Service Step settings within the RD Forms builder to display service descriptions on your customer-facing form. The description saved against each service in Manage Services will appear below the service name, with a "See More" option for longer descriptions — giving customers the details they need to select the right repair.

  • Auto-create ShipStation Orders and Shipping Labels on Invoice Payment
When the new config is enabled in your ShipStation integration settings, paid invoices with a shipping line item will automatically trigger order creation and label generation in ShipStation. The generated label is linked back to the ticket and is accessible via "Preview Label," eliminating manual steps in your fulfillment workflow.
If you want to enable it, you can go to Integrations > ShipStation > Configuration > Set "Automatically generate shipping label after payment" > Save Changes.

  • Add New Values to Repair Custom Fields Dropdowns on the Fly
You can now type and add a new value directly from any dropdown-type Repair Custom Field on the ticket, without navigating to settings. Any new value added is automatically saved for future use, keeping your custom fields up to date without disrupting your workflow.

  • Search Products and Categories at Every Level on the Point of Sale
A search bar is now available at every level of the Products section in Point of Sale, making it faster to find the right category or product without scrolling. Search results pull from the current level and all levels below it, so you always find what you're looking for in fewer steps.

  • Control Tax Column and Total Tax Visibility Separately on Receipts and Invoices
You can now show or hide the Tax Column and Total Tax Amount independently on your Service, Thermal, and Invoice receipts. Previously controlled by a single toggle, these settings have been split into two: "Display Tax Column" and "Display Total Tax," giving you more precise control over what tax information is shown to your customers.
You can set this under Settings > Sales > Receipts > Configuration > Turn on/off toggle under "Pricing, Tax & Transaction Details". For invoices, go to Settings > Sales > Invoices > Configuration > Turn on/off toggle under "Interface & Display."

  • Filter Tickets by Customer Custom Fields on the Manage Tickets Page
You can now filter tickets using Customer Custom Fields directly from the Advanced Filters section on the Manage Tickets page. Selected fields also appear as columns in the ticket listing and are included in Excel exports, making it easier to search for, view, and report on customer-specific data.

  • Show or Hide Diagnostic Notes on Invoices
You can now control whether diagnostic notes and their timestamps appear on your Invoice PDF. A new "Display Diagnostic Notes" toggle has been added under both Settings > Invoices > Interface & Display > Display Diagnostic Notes, giving you full control over what internal repair notes are shared with customers.

  • Decrease Stock and Revalue Cost Directly from the Ticket
You can now decrease stock and revalue cost price directly from the Inventory Adjustment pop-up on the Ticket Details page, for both inventory items and attached parts. This brings the same full adjustment functionality available on the Products Listing page into your ticket workflow, so you can manage stock discrepancies and cost updates without switching screens.

  • Control the "Others, Please Specify" Option on the Customer Portal
You can now enable or disable the "Others, Please Specify" option in the Device Issue section of the Customer Portal from your Customer Portal Settings. When disabled, customers are restricted to selecting only your predefined device issues, giving you more control over ticket intake.

  • Phone System & Aria Improvements
1: The customer's most recent ticket is now automatically linked to the call record. When a customer calls to schedule an appointment or request a quote, Aria now embeds that information directly into their existing lead, making it easy to reference later.
2: You will now receive a weekly stats email summarizing your call metrics. You can enable/disable this weekly email notification trigger under Settings > Communication > Aria - AI Receptionist > Notification Settings> Weekly Overview Email

April 2026 Product Updates

April is all about clearing out the winter cobwebs and making your daily workflow feel lighter. We’ve overhauled the experience for our inventory count module, introduced the Inventory Aging Report to spot slow-moving inventory, added more flexible ways to check in repairs, polished the small details to save you time on every ticket, and much more.

Key Highlights:

Inventory Count Revamped

Inventory Count

Our redesigned Inventory Count module makes stocktakes faster and more accurate, helping you eliminate shrinkage and keep your records perfectly in sync with what's actually on your shelves.

  • Redesigned Experience: Rebuilt to speed up your workflow, allowing you to move through your store and reconcile stock levels with fewer taps and better visibility.
  • Quick Scan & Bulk Add: Ditch the manual typing by scanning barcodes or adding entire categories at once to finish your counts in record time.
  • Scan with Sound: Hear an instant "beep" for success or an alert for errors, so you can count stock quickly without constantly checking the screen.
  • Count Serialized & Trade-in: Track high-value devices and unique trade-ins individually so you never lose sight of your most expensive assets.
  • Tablet-friendly: Count stock on the move with a mobile-ready interface that lets you audit your shelves without being stuck at a desk.
and more quality of life updates.

Inventory Aging Report

Inventory Aging Report

Repair stores rely on inventory reports to manage stock, but it’s not always easy to know which items are actually selling and which ones are just sitting on the shelves.
Some items move quickly, while others stay in inventory for weeks or even months. Without clear visibility, it becomes difficult to decide what to restock and what to clear out.
To solve this, we’ve introduced the Inventory Aging Report in RepairDesk.
The Inventory Aging Report helps you see how long items have been in stock and quickly find products that aren’t selling.

With it, you can:
  • See the last sold date of each item
  • Track how many days an item hasn’t been sold
  • Identify slow-moving and dead stock instantly
  • Filter items based on sales activity (e.g., not sold in the last 30–60 days)
  • Make better decisions for restocking and clearance

Quick Check-in Multiple Customizable Forms

Quick Check-in Templates

Tailor your intake process for every type of repair. Whether it’s a quick screen fix or a complex motherboard job, you can now use specialized forms to capture the exact details you need. This keeps customer onboarding relevant, professional, and much faster for your team.

  • Total Form Control: Fully customize your workflow by adding or removing specific sections and fields. This allows you to build the perfect form that asks only what is necessary for your specific shop operations.
  • Switch Forms Instantly: Choose the right layout on the fly based on the device or service type to ensure no critical information is missed.
  • Cleaner Onboarding: Only ask for the details that matter for that specific repair, reducing clutter and speeding up the intake at the counter.
  • Personalized Data Capture: Create custom fields for different repair workflows so your technicians have all the right notes from the start.

What’s New:

  • Unit Cost Column Added to the Add Inventory Item Pop-up
You can now see the cost price of each item directly in the Add Inventory Item pop-up when creating a ticket. Quickly review margins and make accurate pricing decisions without leaving the ticket screen.

  • IMEI/Serial Number Now Visible on the Customer Portal Ticket Listing
The Customer Portal ticket listing now displays IMEI/Serial information alongside each ticket, making it easier to identify and track devices at a glance. No more opening individual tickets just to retrieve device details.

  • ShipStation Shipment Charge Preference is Now Saved
When creating outbound shipping labels via ShipStation, your last selected option for "Charge shipment cost to the customer" is now saved and pre-selected the next time you open the pop-up. No more repetitive manual changes every time you create a label.

  • Search and Filter Assets in the POS Assets Pop-up
You can now search and filter assets directly within the Assets pop-up on POS, making it faster to locate the right asset. No more manual scrolling through hundreds of entries to create a repair ticket.

  • Email and SMS Notification Preferences Now Saved for New Customers
Your preferred email and SMS notification settings are now saved and automatically applied when creating a new customer. Set your preferences once, and they'll be remembered, giving you full control over customer notifications without adjusting toggles every time.

  • Linked Tickets and Estimates Now Visible on the Customer Portal
Customers can now see the associated estimate directly from a ticket and the linked estimate from a ticket in the Customer Portal. This makes it easier to track service requests and their corresponding estimates in one place.

  • Custom Payment Terms in Customer Groups
You can now choose a Custom Days option in the Due On dropdown inside Customer Groups. Once selected, you can enter your own number of days, like 7, 14, or any value you need. This makes it easy to set payment terms based on your business needs, rather than relying only on fixed options. The system will automatically use these custom days to calculate the invoice due date for third-party billing customers.

  • Customer Group Notes
You can now add notes at the Customer Group level, so any important information or instructions can be applied to all customers within that group. When a customer from that group is selected on the POS, the group note will automatically appear in the flagged pop-up, helping staff see relevant instructions instantly.

  • Assigned To Column in Custom Reports
You can now use a new Assigned To (Assignee) column and filter in Custom Reports under the Item Breakdown report. This allows you to clearly view and filter the technician responsible for a job separately from the salesperson.

  • Revamped Settings Pages
We’ve redesigned the following configuration pages to give you a clearer and more organized experience! With a cleaner UI, better navigation, and clearer visibility.
    • Inventory Transfer Status
    • GRN Configuration
    • RMA Configuration
    • Special Part Order

  • Quick Check-In with Itemized Services
Handle multiple repair issues on a single ticket by adding each one as its own line item. This gives you a cleaner way to track specific pricing, parts, and warranties for every individual fix, making the process more transparent for your customers and easier for your team to manage.

  • Linking Tickets and Leads to Call Logs
Keep your communication history organized by connecting every call to a specific record. Just head to the call listing page to map your conversations to the right lead or ticket, ensuring you never lose track of a customer's story.

  • Export Goods Received Notes (GRNs) to Excel
Quickly export your GRNs into Excel from the listing page or directly from the GRN view page. This makes it easier to review, share, and maintain accurate records of received inventory without manual work.

  • Transfer Order Reference in Purchase Orders & GRNs
Link your Purchase Orders and GRNs with related Transfer Orders by adding a reference that turns into a clickable link. This helps you open linked records instantly and keeps your inventory movement properly connected.

  • Role-Based Permissions for Insights
Protect your sensitive data while empowering your team. You can assign specific roles, like managers, to view Ticket and Sales Insights, giving them the data they need without granting full admin access.

  • IMEI/Serial Tracking in Custom Reports
Get full visibility of every device sold by viewing serial numbers directly in your Items Breakdown reports under custom reporting. This makes sales tracking easier for each device you sell.

  • Update / Delete Customer Assets
Keep your records accurate and clutter-free by editing or deleting customer assets as needed. This update gives you total control over the equipment and devices linked to your customer profiles.

  • Negative Stock Filters
Spot inventory discrepancies instantly using the new filter in the Low Stock Report. It highlights items with negative quantities so you can fix errors and generate purchase orders to get your stock back on track.

  • Expanded Shopify Variant Syncing
We have removed old restrictions to support Shopify’s larger variant capacity, ensuring even your most complex products with numerous options stay perfectly in sync.

  • Bulk Tax Updates on Purchase Orders
Save time when placing orders for your suppliers by updating the tax class for an entire order at once when you create it through OrderSync. This removes the need for tedious line-by-line editing and ensures your financial records stay compliant.

  • Tax and Total Macros for Emails
Provide professional transparency by automatically including the tax and final balance in your email templates. Customers appreciate knowing the exact total upfront, which leads to fewer billing questions later.

  • Automatic Address Population Based on Store Location
Speed up the check-in process at the counter. When adding a customer's details, you can populate the city, state, and country fields under the customer's address using your store address.

  • WooCommerce Syncing - Trade-in Items Condition on Sale
Ensure your online store matches your physical shop perfectly. Trade-in items synced to WooCommerce now respect "On Sale" conditions so that visitors can see the actual condition of trade-in devices on your website.

  • Physical Location on Receipts
Help your staff find parts in seconds by displaying the exact shelf, bin, or drawer location on service receipts. This keeps the work floor organized and reduces time wasted searching the back room.

  • Low Stock Levels in API
Automate your restocking process by allowing your external tools or developers to read and update stock thresholds. This prevents stockouts and lets you use third-party apps to manage your inventory levels more intelligently.

  • Employee Referral Tracking
Reward your team members who add new customers in a system with a referral source. You can now attribute referrals to specific employees and view the "How did you hear about us" report to see who is driving the most revenue for your shop.

Get your month-end books done faster with cleaner exports and more detailed filters. You can slice your expenses by category or store, then export a file that’s ready for your accountant without any extra cleanup.

Display Multiple Device Issues as Separate Line Items

Display Multiple Device Issues as Separate Line Items

A few weeks ago, one of our customers requested a feature update on our User group, and it turns out several other merchants shared the same feedback. We love it when that happens!

You asked for a way to display multiple issues for the same device appear as separate line items on the ticket … and we’re happy to say: It’s now live!

With this new update, you can:

Display multiple issues for the same item as separate line items
Display price and apply discounts to individual services (instead of the entire ticket)
Show different warranty information for each issue automatically

How to Activate: Go to: Settings >> Ticket & Repairs >> Repairs>> Enable: “Itemize each repair as a separate line item.” >> Save

To learn more, read this knowledge base article.

Quick Check-in

Quick Check-in
Introducing our new One-Page Check-In Process designed to help you collect customer info, capture job details, and create a ticket in under a minute.

How it works:
  • Step 1: Use our drag-and-drop form builder to design a check-in flow that fits your repair shop.
  • Step 2: Select from your repair services (charging port cleaning, soldering, key fobs, diagnostics, tech support & more) or add a custom request to instantly generate a ticket.

You can also scan or search a part from MS, PLP, or IG, and RepairDesk auto-populates pricing with your markup and labor, keeping your margins consistent.

Watch it in action in this Video!
To learn more, read this knowledge base article.

What’s New:

  • Polish Notes with AI
You can now use AI to rewrite your diagnostic or private notes based on your custom instructions, helping you save time while keeping everything clear and well organized.

  • View Additional Notes Directly in Ticket Listing
You can now see Additional Notes directly from the Ticket Listing without opening each ticket. The new column can be enabled or disabled based on your preference, giving you full control over your view.
This saves time, makes important information visible at a glance, and keeps your ticket list clean and organized.

  • Stronger Controls for Assigning Superuser Role
We’ve tightened permission controls so that only superusers can assign or mark roles as superusers. Non-superusers will no longer see superuser roles in the employee creation flow or the option to mark a role as superuser. This helps prevent unauthorized privilege escalation and keeps access control secure.

  • Item Details Now Visible on Manage Serials Page
The Manage Serials page now displays key item details, including Item ID, SKU, Brand, Model, and serialized stock summary. This provides better context when managing serial numbers, helping merchants quickly identify the associated item and reduce errors when working with serialized inventory.

  • Search Inside POS Tax Class Dropdown
We’ve added a search field to the Tax Class dropdown on the POS, making it easier to find the right tax class when there are many options. The dropdown now filters results dynamically as you type, helping merchants select the correct tax class faster and keep checkout running smoothly.

  • RepairDesk Forms Updates
    • Search Tickets by RD Forms Custom Fields:
You can now search and filter tickets using values captured through RD Forms custom fields directly from the ticket listing page. A new “RD Forms Custom Fields” option in Advanced Filters lets you quickly find tickets using identifiers like serial numbers or other form data, making ticket management faster and more efficient.
    • Capture IMEI/Serial & Device Details via RD Forms
RD Forms can now capture key Ticket Details fields, such as IMEI/Serial, Passcode, Additional Items, and Device Network. These fields can be added directly to forms and automatically map to the created ticket and associated asset. This ensures device information is recorded correctly from the start, improving asset tracking and reducing manual updates.
    • Control Brand Search in RD Forms
You can now choose whether to show or hide the search bar on the Brands step in RD Forms. A new “Show Search Bar” option in the Brands widget settings lets merchants control how users select brands, keeping the form experience consistent with the existing manufacturer and service search controls.
    • Improved Asset Creation & IMEI Sync for RD Forms Tickets
Assets created from RD Forms tickets are now handled more accurately. Each submitted device will generate a separate asset, even if the brand and model are the same, and any IMEI/Serial added or updated on the ticket will automatically sync with the asset record. This ensures asset data stays complete, unique, and consistent across tickets and the asset listing.

  • Automatically Clear Device Passcodes on Ticket Closure
To help merchants comply with privacy regulations such as Quebec’s Law 25, RepairDesk can now automatically remove device passcodes or pattern locks when a repair ticket is moved to Closed status. A new setting in Store Settings > Repairs > Tickets enables this behavior, ensuring sensitive customer information is not stored longer than necessary and reducing the need for manual cleanup.

  • Automatic Repair Time Tracking Based on Ticket Status
Repair time tracking is now smarter and more reliable. You can configure the Repair Time Clock to automatically start when a ticket moves to an “In Progress” status and stop when it reaches a “Closed” status. This reduces manual steps for technicians, minimizes missed or incorrect time entries, and ensures more accurate repair time reporting for productivity insights.

  • Review & Apply Self Check-In Customer Updates
When a Self Check-In submission matches an existing customer, RepairDesk now lets you review and selectively apply the updates instead of automatically overwriting data. A pop-up highlights only the fields the customer has changed, allowing staff to update selected details or keep the existing information. This prevents accidental data loss, improves visibility into customer updates, and keeps records accurate with minimal effort.

  • Request Online Deposits Directly from Repair Tickets
You can now request and collect online deposits directly from repair tickets on a per-asset basis. Simply select the device(s), enter the customer’s email, and send a secure deposit payment link.
This allows you to secure an upfront payment from customers even before receiving the device or preparing the final estimate. This improvement supports a smoother workflow for stores that require deposits first, making it easier to manage repairs and payments without interrupting the ticket process.

  • Revamped Settings Pages - Configurations
We’ve redesigned the following configuration pages to give you a clearer and more organized experience! With a cleaner UI, better navigation, and clearer visibility.
    • Point of Sale
    • Purchase Orders & Status
    • Tickets & Repairs
    • Invoices
    • Inventory

    • Trade-in & Status

January 2026 Product Updates

January kicked off the year 2026 with powerful custom reporting flexibility, smarter operational controls, and smoother customer interactions, putting clearer insights, faster workflows, and better decision-making front and center.

Key Highlights:

Custom Sales Report Builder

Custom Sales Report Builder
Repair stores rely on reports to understand what’s working, but the metrics that matter most aren’t the same for every repair store.
Some stores want to track which product categories drive the most revenue. Others focus on margins or repair income. That’s why one-size-fits-all reports often fall short.
To solve this, we’ve enhanced RepairDesk's reporting with our new Custom Report Builder.

What’s New with Custom Report Builder?
The New custom Sales Report Builder allows you to generate different combinations of data, going beyond the limitations of pre-built report templates. You can remove irrelevant data from your report and create a report tailored to your unique needs, focusing on the essential metrics.

With it, you can:
  • Choose only the metrics that matter to you
  • Combine different data points beyond pre-built report limitations
  • Remove unnecessary columns and focus on what drives decisions
  • Analyze sales, repairs, product categories, and profit with clarity
We built this to give you more control, better visibility, and the confidence to make smarter business decisions using data that actually reflects your operation.

Call Logs Listing

PhonePro Call Logs
Every time we talk to customers, the same thing comes up: “We love having our phone call recordings inside RepairDesk.”

So we asked ourselves, how can we make something you already love even better?

With the new Call Logs experience in RepairDesk, you can manage calls faster and with way less effort.

  • Quick Access Phone Icon
A new phone icon in the top menu puts your call logs just one click away.
  • Clearer Call Stats
Instantly view received and missed calls for any day.
  • Mark Calls as Spam
Block unwanted marketing calls for good with a single click.
  • Call Transcripts Inside RepairDesk
Review call transcripts and listen to recordings directly inside RepairDesk.

What’s New:

  • Physical Location & Sorting for Transfer Orders
You can now see the physical location of each inventory item directly on transfer orders, and sort line items alphanumerically by location. This helps warehouse staff quickly find items, reduces back-and-forth searching, and makes processing large transfer orders faster and more efficient.

  • Automatically Check GDPR Compliance When Adding a New Customer
You no longer need to manually tick the “Compliance with GDPR” checkbox when adding customers from the POS screen. With the new Default GDPR Compliance trigger in Store Settings, the checkbox is automatically pre-selected for every new customer when the trigger is ON. This streamlines customer creation, saves time in high-volume workflows, and ensures consistent GDPR compliance while maintaining audit logs for accountability.

  • Smart Category Selection for Nth-Level Repair Categories
Selecting services just got easier. Now, when you select a parent repair category, all of its child categories are automatically selected, no matter how deep the category structure goes. This removes extra clicks, reduces confusion, and helps you avoid missing services, especially when working with complex, multi-level category setups. The result is a faster, smarter, and more intuitive way to manage and view services.

  • RepairDesk Payments support for RepairDesk Forms
RepairDesk Forms now fully support RepairDesk Payments, allowing merchants to collect deposit payments seamlessly during lead submission from forms. This update ensures customers can complete payments for mail-in repairs or service requests directly through the form, helping secure deposit payments before the customer submits the request

  • Safeware Cost & Sales Visibility in Multi-Store Sales Report
We’ve enhanced the Multi-Store Sales Report by adding dedicated columns for Safeware plans cost and sales data under "Safeware Integration," giving merchants clearer insight into Safeware performance across stores. With Safeware costs now properly reflected in reporting, you can accurately track revenue, costs, and profitability at a glance.

  • RepairDesk Payments (Powered by BlockChyp) Batch Report for Easier Payment Reconciliation
We’ve introduced a new Batch Report for BlockChyp in RepairDesk to give merchants clear visibility into how card transactions are grouped and settled. Instead of reviewing individual transactions one by one, you can now view batch-level details such as captured amounts, tips, deposits, and settlement status, then drill down into each batch to see the underlying transactions. This makes it easier to reconcile daily sales with processor settlements, export data for accounting, and quickly confirm that payments have been processed correctly, saving time, reducing errors, and improving financial clarity.

  • Holiday Management in Appointments Pro
We’ve added a new Business Closures/Holidays option in the Appointments page in Appointments Pro. This feature will enable users to define specific dates or date ranges for Business closures or Vacations. Once saved, these periods will automatically block appointment availability during those times.

  • Email Validation in Appointments Pro
We’ve introduced a new trigger named “Enable Email Validation” in Appointment Pro settings. When this trigger is enabled, a verify button appears in the appointment booking widget, and email verification is required before proceeding. After entering the customer's email address and clicking Verify, the system will send a verification code to the customer's email address, which the user can enter in the verification prompt.

December 2025 Product Updates

December wrapped up the year with powerful upgrades focused on stronger security, faster inventory workflows, clearer financial visibility, and smarter automation, along with refreshed settings pages and a major round of stability improvements.

Key Highlight/s:

Enhanced API Security with OAuth 2.0 Support

OAuth 2.0 authentication for RepairDesk APIs provides a more secure and standardized way to authenticate API access.

Developers can now generate and manage access tokens without relying on static API keys, making integrations safer, easier to manage, and compliant with modern security best practices.

This update improves control over API access while ensuring greater reliability for third-party and custom integrations.

ScanPro Enhancements

  • New Draft mode for scanned items
With this improvement, all the scanned items are automatically saved as drafts, allowing merchants to review or edit them later without losing any progress, even if the scanning session is interrupted.
  • Unlimited Items Scanning
With this improvement, the merchants can scan an unlimited number of items, making it easier to handle large-scale inventory updates efficiently and without any performance limitations.
  • Cost Price Syncing
For multi-store accounts, the cost price is now automatically synced across all stores for newly scanned items using ScanPro. This improvement reduces merchants' manual effort by automatically syncing prices across all stores.
  • Enhanced view
We have redesigned the items display experience with pagination and separate tabs for mapped and unmapped items. This improvement will enable the merchants to quickly navigate, review, and manage scanned records with better clarity.

What’s New:

  • Appointments Pro - Option to hide multiple store locations
A new trigger, “Enable Store Locations,” has been launched in the Appointment Pro settings. Using this trigger, the merchants can hide specific store locations from appearing in Appointment Pro while booking an appointment or getting a quote.

  • Taxable & Non-Taxable cards on Manage Invoices
You’ll now see separate Taxable Amount and Non-Taxable Amount cards, making it easy to understand how much of your sales are taxable at a glance. Tax values are now calculated correctly for partial payments, showing tax proportionally based on the amount paid.
This works smoothly for both Accrual and Cash accounting methods, helping you track revenue accurately, reduce confusion, and stay confident when managing taxes and business performance.

  • Ticket ID Reference in Invoice Emails
Invoice emails now support a Ticket ID macro, allowing merchants to automatically include the associated Ticket ID in their invoice communications. This ensures customers have a clear reference to the related repair or service ticket when reviewing the invoice.

  • Add Multiple Inventory Items to Tickets in One Go from Advanced Search
You can now select multiple items at once in the advanced search pop-up, adjust quantities directly in the search results, and add everything in one step with the new Proceed action. We’ve also moved Save Filter and Reset closer to the filters for easier access. These changes reduce repetitive actions and make it easier to add the right items and quantities without reopening the search each time.

  • Show Warranty Details on Estimates
Merchants can now display service warranty information directly on Estimates using a new template option. This clearly shows the warranty for each service on the estimate, helping customers understand the coverage being offered before approving the repair.

  • Automatic Ticket Status Updates for RD Form Replies
Customer replies to RD Form reference emails are now logged directly in the ticket’s Email/SMS history. This ensures ticket statuses update automatically based on your configured “update ticket status when customer replies” rules, helping teams stay on top of customer responses without manual intervention.

  • Improved Low Stock Reporting with Cost Visibility
The Low Stock Report now includes the item cost price, giving you clearer insight into inventory value while planning reorders. The cost price column is also available in both PDF and Excel exports, making it easier to review, share, and make informed purchasing decisions with a complete financial context.

This structure simplifies service navigation, improves the check-in process, and allows categories to be displayed on Widgets and Customer Portals.
It supports future scalability and provides detailed category paths in reports for better analysis and management.

You can learn more about managing repair categories from this video.

Bulk Image Updater

We have introduced a Bulk Image Update tool that allows merchants to efficiently upload and update product images in bulk from a centralized interface within Store Settings.

This tool supports updating images for repair categories, manufacturers, and devices.
This streamlines the inventory management process by saving time, reducing manual effort, and ensuring your product images remain accurate and up-to-date across the system.

    • This update helps you gain clearer insights, make faster decisions, and get a reporting experience tailored to your inventory management needs!

  • New Setting to Sync ShipStation Orders After Invoice Payment
We’ve added a new setting that lets you delay creating ShipStation orders until an invoice is generated and marked as paid (or partially paid). This change ensures that shipping labels and orders are only made for confirmed transactions. You’ll still be able to calculate and display shipping charges on Tickets, Estimates, and Invoices, but ShipStation will receive the order only after payment is made on the invoice.

  • Customer Assets Pop-Up: Additional Details Column
The Customer Assets pop-up on the POS has been enhanced to include an Additional Details column that displays custom field information associated with customer assets. This improvement enables staff to efficiently identify and verify device-specific details during repeat check-ins, thereby streamlining the workflow.

  • POS Scan Functionality Update: Prevent Duplicate Items
The POS scan functionality has been improved to automatically hide search results once a scanned item is added to the cart. This enhancement prevents accidental duplicate item additions, promoting a smoother and more accurate checkout process.

  • Configurable Shipping and Payment Step Order
Merchants can now customize the order of the Shipping and Payment steps in the checkout flow by dragging and dropping them to their preferred sequence. This update allows merchants to move the payment step before shipping, ensuring customers pay deposits upfront before shipping labels are generated.

  • New Webex Interact SMS Integration with Two-Way Messaging
Due to Textlocal's acquisition by Webex and the subsequent deprecation of their service, we have transitioned to the Webex Interact SMS integration. This new integration supports two-way SMS communication, allowing merchants to both send and receive messages seamlessly within RepairDesk. This upgrade ensures uninterrupted SMS service for merchants while enhancing customer engagement through more reliable messaging capabilities.

  • Select All Options When Creating Estimates from the New Ticket UI
We’ve added a convenient Select All checkbox on the new ticket UI when creating estimates. Previously, merchants had to select each item individually, which could be time-consuming for large jobs. Now, with a single click, users can select all items in the list to include them in the estimate, streamlining the workflow and saving time.

  • Revamped Recurring & Subscription Listings
We’ve redesigned both the Manage Recurring and Subscriptions listings to give you a smoother and more organized experience! With a cleaner UI, better navigation, and clearer visibility into your recurring invoices and subscriptions, you can now review, filter, and manage all your recurring billing and subscription records with ease, helping you stay in control of your revenue streams like never before

  • Remove “Proceed Anyway” Option for Mandatory Consent on Payment Terminal
We’ve added an option in RepairDesk Pay config page to remove the “Proceed Anyway” button on the POS screen where customer consent/signature is required. This ensures that customers must provide mandatory consent before continuing with a transaction, reducing compliance risks and protecting your business.

  • Ability to Export Individual Purchase Orders
You can now export a single Purchase Order directly from the PO details page. Quickly save individual POs without exporting the entire list, saving time and making record-keeping easier.

  • Ticket Export – Separate Columns for Custom Fields
Ticket exports now display each custom field in its own column, rather than grouping them. This makes your exported data cleaner and easier to filter, sort, or analyze, especially when working with spreadsheets or generating custom reports.

We’ve refreshed the Pre/Post Repair Checklist pop-up that appears when purchasing a trade-in item, giving it a cleaner and more user-friendly design. Editing item details on the POS is now smoother with a new side-drawer UI. Quickly update prices, stock, or other information directly from the POS without needing to navigate away, saving time during checkout.

What’s New:

  • Trade-In info on Refurbishment Ticket
When creating a refurbishment ticket for a trade-in item, you’ll now see key details, including IMEI/serial number and description. This provides technicians with quick access to critical information, eliminating the need to switch screens.

No more mismatched totals, the shipping cost entered on a Purchase Order now automatically carries over to the Purchase Bill and GRN, ensuring accurate totals and smooth payment reconciliation.

    • Mandatory Workflow Selection for Ticket Creation: You can now make workflow selection mandatory when creating a ticket. Ensuring that every repair follows the proper steps reduces errors and maintains consistency across the team's processes.
    • Highlight Skipped & Violated Workflow Steps: Skipped and violated workflow steps are now clearly highlighted in the workflow UI. Skipped steps are shown in orange, violated steps in red, and you can hover over them to see who skipped or violated them, along with the date and time. This provides managers with instant visibility, ensures accountability, and enhances overall quality control without requiring them to review ticket history.
    • Move Tickets Backward to Previous Workflow Steps: You can now move a ticket backward to any previous workflow step by simply clicking on it. This makes it easier to handle real-life scenarios, such as rework, corrections, or additional checks, without canceling or restarting the ticket. • Email Verification – Receive a 6-digit code via email each time you log in.
  • Authenticator App – Scan a QR code using an app like Google Authenticator and use time-based codes to log in.
This feature helps protect your account from unauthorized access and ensures only you can log in, even if someone knows your password.

Upgraded Pre/Post Repair Conditions Checklists

We have enhanced the "Pre/Post Repair Conditions Checklist" to give you more control, a better experience, and customer visibility before and after every repair.

  • Customizable condition labels, choose from defaults or create your own

Once added, hit Enter or click search to list the tickets and apply bulk status updates or other actions, making it much faster to manage multiple tickets at once.
    • Quickly Charge Different Service Prices with Clone Option: We've added a Clone option in the New Ticket UI as well, so you can duplicate asset details without re-entering them. This is perfect when offering multiple services for the same device at different prices. Just clone the asset, pick the new service, and you're done!. You can also send quotes based on each line item separately.
    • Drag and Drop Images in New Ticket UI: You can now upload images by simply dragging and dropping them into the pop-up from the Pre/Post Repair Images section. This makes it much quicker and easier to add photos while creating or updating a ticket.

  • Easily Clone Services on POS
With the new Clone Service option on POS, merchants can quickly duplicate a service while keeping it logged as a separate line item. This makes it easy to send estimates for each service individually for customer approval and ensures that each service appears separately on invoices and receipts for precise, professional documentation.

  • View Manufacturer & Device Info in Item-Wise Sales Report
We’ve added two new columns, Manufacturer and Device, to the Item-Wise Sales Report. This gives you better visibility into which brands and device models are generating the most sales, helping you make more informed inventory decisions.

  • Set Default Assignee, Status & Task Type for Customer Portal Tickets

You can now configure the sort order for the Ticket Counter Display to suit your store’s workflow. This helps ensure that employees don’t forget to add these charges to the invoice during checkout. By surfacing these items automatically, you can apply fees consistently across transactions and avoid missing out on additional revenue.

  • Clickable Item Names on POS Cart for Quick Access
We've made it easier to manage items in the POS cart; item names are now clickable! Click on an item name to instantly open its details and make quick edits such as updating serials, tax class, price, or quantity. June 2025 Product Updates

We’ve packed June with powerful upgrades to make your workflow smoother, your tools smarter, and your service even sharper. From smarter asset tracking to sleeker UI and enhanced customer experiences, there’s something for every repair pro.

Key Highlights:

Tracking Customer Assets for Repeat Visits Just Got Easier
More flexibility and control over customer asset tracking:
  • You can manually add new assets to any customer profile, so if someone walks in with a luxury watch or a broken phone, you have one central place to track everything that comes through your doors.
  • When a customer comes in, all their assets, whether it's a smartphone, watch, drone, ring, tablet, or any other device, are stored in their profile. At the point of sale, pull up their profile and click "Customer Assets" to instantly view a completed log of the work performed, the person who did the job, and the parts used.
Together, these improvements make check-ins faster, especially when customers bring in the same asset multiple times. You’ll spend less time entering data and more time focusing on repairs.

New Tickets UI Improvements:

  • Drag & Drop Left Cards on the Ticket Details Page: You can now reorder the left-side cards on the new ticket details page just like the right ones. This allows you to organize the layout based on their workflow by moving less-used cards to the bottom, resulting in a cleaner and more efficient experience.
  • Warranty Info Now Visible on Tickets & Excel Exports: Previously, you had to manually calculate remaining warranty days with no easy way to view them on the ticket or in exported files. We’ve added a Warranty Information card to the ticket details page and included the warranty start date, end date, and remaining days in Excel exports for tickets and invoices, making it easier to track without requiring manual effort.
  • Closed Tickets Now Fully Locked with Restriction Setting: When the "Restrict employees from making changes after the ticket is closed" setting is enabled, closed tickets are now fully locked; only the history section remains editable. We’ve added the private comments section directly in the ticket details drawer, so you can now add internal notes while creating a ticket—no need to wait until after the ticket is created.
  • Better Layout for Special Order and Special Part Drawers
We’ve improved the layout of both drawers by separating the content into two clear sections: Item Information and Order Details. This makes it easier for you to scan and fill in details quickly without confusion.

Faster and Smarter Search in Repair Price Calculator
Name-based search is now quicker and more accurate, delivering highly relevant results to streamline your repair pricing workflow.

Major Enhancements to Bill Payments Module
  • View customers' bill payment history directly in both the POS and Manage Customers sections.
  • Configure individual due dates for each plan for reference.
  • Automatically send reminder emails to customers as their plan nears expiration.
  • Process multiple bill payments within a single transaction for faster checkout.
  • Service receipts now clearly display the next repayment date, helping customers stay informed about upcoming plan expirations.

  • Bulk Import, Export & Update Serialized Inventory with Custom Attributes -
Merchants can now import, export, and bulk update serialized inventory items, including custom attributes for each item, directly from the Inventory module. This enhancement streamlines inventory management by allowing users to make batch edits to serialized items—such as updating warranty info, color, condition, or other custom fields—without editing items individually, saving time and reducing errors.

  • Easily Share Attachments via the Customer Portal -
You can now make ticket attachments visible to customers through the Customer Portal. When you upload PDFs, images, or other files to a ticket, simply mark them as visible on customer portal, and your customers—especially B2B clients—can view and download these documents directly from the portal, improving communication and transparency.

  • Control Service Visibility on the Customer Portal
You can now choose which services appear on the Customer Portal. This update gives merchants the flexibility to hide certain services based on their business model—whether for B2B clients, mail-in repairs, or in-store offerings. Simply toggle visibility on or off for each service to ensure customers see only the relevant options.

  • Automatically Map Refunds to the Right Accounts in QuickBooks -
Merchants using the QuickBooks integration can now configure refund mapping based on the invoice payment method (e.g., cash, card, or bank). This setting is available in the QuickBooks configuration page and ensures that refunds are automatically synced to the correct accounts in QuickBooks—eliminating the need for manual adjustments and improving accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliation.

  • Quickly Verify Xero Sync Status for Invoice Payments -
RepairDesk now displays the Xero sync status for each payment in the Payment History section of an invoice. This allows you to instantly check if a payment has been successfully synced with Xero, helping you catch and resolve sync issues.

  • Automatically Remove Discontinued Products from Shopify
We've introduced a new trigger that allows you to automatically delete products from your Shopify store when you disable sync for any item in RepairDesk. Once enabled, this ensures discontinued or unsynced products are removed from Shopify, keeping your online catalog clean and up to date without manual effort.

  • Empower Customers to Reset/Change Their Portal Passwords -
Customers can now reset or change their passwords directly within the Customer Portal. When logged in, they simply click their profile icon in the top corner and select the new "Change Password" option, allowing them to securely update their password without needing support assistance. This improves user convenience and reduces support requests.

  • Set Default Ticket Status and Task Type for RD Forms -
Merchants can now configure a default ticket status and task type directly on the RD Forms confirmation widget step. This ensures that tickets generated through the form are automatically assigned consistent statuses and task types, making it easier to identify and manage them later.

  • Improve Team Communication with Private Comments in POS Unlock Section -
Merchants can now add private comments when unlocking sections in the POS. This feature enables users to record internal notes or reasons for unlocking, enhancing communication, and tracking within the team without exposing these comments to customers.

  • Easily Disable Employee Commissions Globally for Better Control -
We've added a new toggle option on the Employee Commissions page that allows merchants to disable commissions for each employee globally. This feature helps merchants manage commission settings more efficiently, ensuring precise control over payouts without the need to adjust commissions individually for every transaction.

What’s New:

  • MobileSentrix UK is now integrated with OrderSync. MobileSentrix, a top supplier of high-quality phone repair parts, replacement screens, and accessories, has expanded to the UK and is now integrated with OrderSync.

  • New Tickets UI Improvements
    • Improved Readability in Flag Message Popup
You can now see your messages with proper line breaks in the flag message popup, making notes more straightforward and helping your staff quickly understand important details without confusion.
    • Easier Part Reattachment for Warranty Claims
You can instantly reattach a part while managing warranty claims, saving time and reducing errors by skipping the manual search process.
  • Appointments Pro - Boost Online Bookings with Custom Service Pricing
To help convert more price-sensitive customers, merchants can now set a separate Online Price (Appointments Pro) for each service. This new option is available on the Service Details page and the POS's Add/Edit Service pop-up. If the “Show Online Price for Services” setting is enabled, the online price will be displayed on Appointments Pro, encouraging more customers to book directly without hesitation.

  • Let B2B Customers Submit Unlisted Repair Requests with Ease
To streamline the ticket creation process for B2B customers, Customer Portal allows customers to enter a custom service request when their desired repair is not listed in the dropdown. This is done via a text input column labeled “Issue Details” during ticket creation. This improvement reduces back-and-forth communication and ensures that tickets reflect accurate repair details.

  • Send Bulk Invoice Reminders with Attached PDFs for Easier Review
Merchants can now attach PDF copies of each invoice when sending bulk reminder emails from RepairDesk. This enhancement is especially useful for those B2B customers, allowing recipients to review complete invoice details. Select the invoices and enable the "Attach PDF" option during the bulk reminder process to streamline communication and improve professionalism.

  • RepairDesk Forms - Keep Your Team Informed with RD Forms Submission Notifications
You can now send email notifications to non-admin users when an RD Form is submitted. Choose which employees should receive submission copies from the form “Email for Admin” settings. This ensures the right people stay in the loop and can respond quickly—even if the admin is away—helping your team stay efficient and responsive.

  • Make Smarter Purchasing Decisions with On-Hand Stock Visibility
You can now view the on-hand stock quantity for each item while viewing a Purchase Order (PO) or creating a Goods Received Note (GRN). This update helps you avoid over-ordering when creating a PO and lets you check real-time stock levels while receiving items through GRNs.

  • Add Device/Manufacturer Macro for Ticket Status Email templates.
We’ve introduced a new macro—{{manufacturer_device}}—to improve your email and SMS templates. Previously, macros like {{device}} and {{device_name}} only returned the device model, often resulting in awkward phrasing (e.g., “your Datejust Datejust”). With the new macro, you can automatically include the manufacturer and model, like “your Rolex Datejust”—in your customer communications. This ensures your messages sound more professional, transparent, and personalized.

  • ScanPro Updates
    • Search by Name in ScanPro
Now, you can search for SKUs using the item name, making it easier to find the desired SKU for your inventory management process.
    • ScanPro is More Intuitive Than Ever
We've updated ScanPro to fetch information five times faster and enhanced the AI mapping for improved accuracy and performance.

  • Save & Add New Button for Services
The new Save & Add New button allows you to create multiple services quickly. You won't need to go back and forth after each entry.

  • Service Charges Column Added to Import/Export Files of Services Module
In import/export files, you can now see whether a service is billed hourly or at a fixed price. This makes it easier to manage services and avoid confusion while analyzing data.

Mobilenzo is now integrated with OrderSync

You can now enter an order ID from "Mobileenzo" and automatically create a purchase order in RepairDesk using OrderSync. It ensures that existing SKUs are mapped accurately, while AI mapping assists in mapping new SKUs. You can review and edit attributes before finalizing a purchase order.

What’s New:

  • Consistent & Improved 'Add Customer' Experience on POS
The enhanced Add Customer pop-up from the New Ticket UI is now available on the POS. When adding a new customer to the POS, you’ll see the same streamlined pop-up as in the New Ticket UI. This ensures a consistent experience across the platform and makes it easier to add and manage customer details seamlessly.

  • Date Range Selection in RD Forms
We've introduced a new "Date Range" custom field in RD Forms, allowing users to capture a start and end date within a single field. When creating or editing a custom form step on RD Forms, you can add a "Date Range" field instead of two separate date fields. This makes collecting timeframes for warranties, service periods, and bookings easier, ensuring a more streamlined and accurate data entry process.

  • Clearer Shopify Integration Triggers for Better Control
We've improved the Shopify integration settings by disabling interdependent triggers and adding tooltips to explain prerequisites for enabling them. When a trigger requires another setting to be turned off first, it will appear disabled with a tooltip explaining what needs to be done. This ensures merchants understand how triggers work, reducing confusion and making the integration setup smoother.

  • RepairDesk is now integrated with Integrately!
With this integration, you can connect RepairDesk with 1,200+ apps in just a few clicks. This helps to automate workflows, save time on manual tasks, and boost your repair shop’s efficiency.

  • RepairDesk Forms - Allow Customers to download a PDF Summary of their inquiry
After submitting an RD Form, customers can now download a PDF summary of their inquiry. We've added a Download PDF option on the confirmation page of RD Forms. After submission, customers can review and save a detailed order summary, ensuring transparency and a better customer experience.

  • More Flexibility in Managing Customer Phone Numbers
You can now set a customer's primary phone number, even if it already exists as a secondary number in another profile. When updating or adding a customer, the system will no longer block primary numbers already listed as secondary in another profile. This solves a common issue where a family member’s number—often used as an alternate contact when a customer’s device is broken—couldn’t be added as a secondary number because it was already linked to their own profile. Now, you can seamlessly manage customer contacts without restrictions, ensuring better communication and smoother customer interactions.

  • Send Messages Faster with Canned Responses in PhonePro
You can now create and manage canned message templates in the "Write Message" option when receiving customer calls in PhonePro. Instead of manually drafting messages for each customer inquiry, merchants can save predefined message templates and quickly select them when responding. This ensures faster responses, consistent messaging, and a more professional customer experience. No more retyping the same messages—select, send, and streamline communication!

  • Control Repair Price Visibility in the Customer Portal
Merchants can hide repair prices when customers create or view tickets on the Customer Portal. A new setting allows merchants to toggle price visibility on or off in the Customer Portal. When the trigger is enabled, customers will not see repair prices upfront, allowing merchants to review and discuss pricing directly before finalizing the repair.

  • Track When Invoices & Service Receipts Are Generated
Merchants can now include a "Generated Date & Time Stamp" on Invoices and Service Receipts, helping them track when these documents were generated. A new macro has been added to the Invoice and Service Receipt templates, similar to the one in Thermal Receipts. This macro automatically displays the exact timestamp of when the document was generated, ensuring accurate record-keeping and better tracking.

  • Quickly Identify Custom Forms at a Glance
Merchants can now see the title of a Custom Form displayed on the Widget Steps page after saving, making it easier to manage multiple custom forms. Previously, users had to open each form individually to identify its purpose. The form title is displayed directly on the Widget Steps page, allowing for quick identification and streamlined form management.

  • Quickly Identify Tickets by Customer Organization in Ticket Counter Display
Merchants can now add the Organization field to the Ticket Counter Display columns, making tracking tickets linked to specific customer organizations easier. Previously, merchants could not view organization details in the Ticket Counter Display, so extra steps were required to find this information. Now, merchants can instantly recognize and manage tickets associated with different businesses or clients by enabling the Organization column.

  • Cleaner, More Professional Estimates Without Empty Discount Columns
The Discount column will automatically be hidden in estimate templates if no discount is applied, preventing unnecessary clutter. Previously, the Discount column and its zero value remained visible even when no discount was added, affecting document readability. If no discount is applied, the system removes the column and its label, ensuring cleaner, more professional-looking estimates.

  • Enhanced Visibility on Estimates, Invoices & Tickets Listings
    • Estimates Listing: The New Due Date column shows the estimate's due date, and the Customer Group column displays the assigned group for each customer.
    • Invoices Listing: New columns for Due Date, Customer Group, and Private Comments allow merchants to track invoice deadlines, categorize customers, and view internal notes at a glance.
    • Tickets Listing: The Customer Group column provides better ticket categorization based on customer groups.
  • Easily View Estimate Due Date Without Editing
Merchants can now see the Estimate Due Date directly on the Estimate View Page, eliminating the need to enter edit mode. The Due Date field is now displayed on the Estimate View Page, allowing users to reference when an estimate is due without additional steps quickly. This update saves time and ensures faster decision-making when reviewing estimates.

  • Control SKU Visibility on Estimate Templates
Merchants can now hide item SKUs from the A4 Estimate Template, giving them better control over the information displayed to customers. A new setting has been added in the Estimate Template Configurations, allowing merchants to toggle SKU visibility on or off as needed.

  • New Tickets UI Improvements
    • Easily Flag Important Internal Notes: Highlight important private comments or internal notes by flagging them. Flagged notes stay at the top of the history section, making it easier to find the key details without scrolling through all comments.
    • Easily Filter Out-of-Stock Items: Now, you can focus only on available stock when searching for parts! Use the Hide out-of-stock option in the advanced search pop-up and the part drawer to quickly find and add in-stock items to your tickets, saving time and making your workflow more efficient.
    • Add Out-of-Stock Items to Tickets with Ease: You can now add out-of-stock inventory items without updating stock first, making ticket processing faster. The Add Stock pop-up will provide the option to proceed without updating the stock before adding the item.
    • Quickly Find Parts with Serial Number Search: You can now search for parts by serial number directly in the part drawer, making it faster and easier to locate the correct item. Selecting a suggestion will automatically pick the corresponding serial without extra clicks.
    • Improved UI for Text Custom Field: Long text in custom fields is now easier to view! Instead of getting cut off, the full text will appear in a tooltip when you hover over the field, making it more convenient to read essential details.
    • Better Visibility for Organization & Customer Group: We’ve made seeing important customer details at a glance easier! Now, the Organization Name and Customer Group appear directly below the email and phone number in the customer card, with no extra clicks needed.
    • Quickly Locate Parts/Items with Physical Location Display: You can now see the physical location of parts in search suggestions, the part drawer, and the advanced search popup, eliminating the need to check the inventory section. This helps locate items faster, reducing search time and improving workflow.
